I dose 20 mg oxycodone a couple of times a day. I'm out and only have 15 mg extended release morphine pills. Based on my normal oxy dosage, how many morphine pills should I take? I know 30 mg morphine should be equivalent but last time I took that, it just made me sleepy and I didn't feel pleasant at all. And yes I know it's not going to be the same no matter what dose I take because it's ER but just trying to find something to at least make me comfortable. Is there a way to bypass the ER? I don't mind it but would prefer to have IR effects if possible.

I crushed 2 of them and took them that way. I can't handle the taste of chewing them plus the coating gets stuck in my teeth
This seems like the obvious answer doesn't it? LOL. I hate doing that because I feel like it fucks the effects up because of the timing. Like taking 45 mg at once is not going to have the same effect as taking 30 mg and then taking 15 an hour or so later.
