There is no definite answer with the information you've given. I've missed alot of times with no problems, but I've also almost lost hands, feet and the stomach.
If you are having alot of pain, if the area with colour is growing or if it's warm, then you should go to the ER ASAP.
Most times it heals by itself, but if you're unlucky just once, you lose a limb
