microdosing shrooms while on medications

I am suffering from extreme depression and would like to try microdosing for relief. I am currently on 80 mg of Prozac and 3 mg of vraylar a day and I'm concerned about serotonin syndrome. what are the odd's still being on the meds?

In general, SSRI-type antidepressants tend to slightly diminish the effects of psychedelics; antipsychotics directly block 5HT2a, the receptor responsible for the psychedelic experience (although Vraylar, being a third generation antipsychotic, seems to be a weaker antagonist at this receptor than the second generation antipsychotics).

In short, the question isn't whether the combo will give you serotonin syndrome (it won't), but whether your meds will prevent the microdosing from working.
