so its been since may of 2019 since I last took methadone , I was afraid id go back to it but ,im still methadone free, ok so how i did it ? my 13 day take homes, i started tapering myself . i was on 30mg. i would drink 3/4 of the bottle each day for one week , the following week id drink1/4 less. each time id put away the rest .I had to because my plan was to one day to just not pick up my take homes..i know what your thinking, what about when i pick up my take homes and id have to drink 30mg in front of the nurse, at 1st i thought i would have to start tapering of again, but i was ok i kept telling myself i needed to get of this control methadone had on me. it helped me stay of the oxys.and I was thankful for that. evenly i had saved enough the methadone i stoped picking up my take homes. started just working myself down to zero. … . i hoped i helped with my story. methadone is not a joke ,it will addict you to it ,
