Hi , I was previously prescribed morphine ER 30mg twice per day and Vicodin 5 mg every 4 hours as needed. I had to go to a new doctor because mine left the state.
New doctor said he would switch me to methadone instead becaise then i wont need breakthrough meds once it builds up . so i was all for it. He gave me Methadone 5mg every 8 hours- 15mg total daily. He said is the same or equal. I know this is supose to build up in your system but it doesnt seem that way!
Could you give me some advice or insight on what to do here? It feels like I took half of the morphine i use to pain wise !
