Hi,

I read some reports of people injecting massive amounts of Methamphetamine, resulting in them getting stroke like symptoms.

What does the neurotransmitters do to the brain or body that actually cause the stroke/problem?.

Thanks.

It happens because blood pressure skyrockets. When this happens blood vessels can burst, interrupting the blood flow to the brain. This Is a stroke

Well, injecting a stimulant directly into your blood stream will cause everything to "go faster." (Any ROA will provide this lovely side effect tho) Your heart will beat faster, bloods being pumped faster, your blood pressure is going to sky rocket. Your core body temperature is going to increase. All of that alone, without adding in physical exertion, is enough to cause a stroke, heart attack, an overdose and/or death. Your entire system (heart rate, blood pressure, pulse, temp, etc) can be at a dangerous level -on it's own, with just the drug, itself. But if one is up and moving around after taking meth (which should be the case, obviously!) -then youre increasing your heart rate, BP, internal temperature, etc. So essentially you're speeding everything up, like 10 fold. One could overdose, overdose and die, have a stroke, or a heart attack, from using meth in any form/ROA.Not saying it's safer to do meth and then just sit there as still as a statue, in hopes of not having a stroke or heart attack. For 1) if you do meth and can sit as still as a statue, well... -ya probably didn't do meth. Lol. AND 2) Even if you DID do quality meth, AND you managed to sit still, it won't really matter, bc the drug itself is already hard at work, working to speed up everything in ones body. BYou definitely don't want to over do it tho. By combining a big "dose" or multiple doses, with hours and hours of physical activity and limited water intake, you're putting a lot of strain on your (already) strained body. ***Also, if one would OD on meth, it's most often at the 3 hour mark. For example, 3 hours after doing a big line. Often you'll start sweating profusely, feel nauseous, and may feel heart palpitations. At this point you would want to call 911 and get to the emergency room.P. S. Stay safe, and always trust me your instincts!
