I am newer to shooting and I have an abscess from a miss starting well as pretty far formed and it is very painful and I don't know what to do about it if I can pop it at home I've been doing hot compresses but it is getting worse and worse the pressure is unreal and the pain I don't know what to do any advice would be helpful and greatly appreciated thank you

As per comment in other thread. Once you have an abscess / infection you have no choice but to seek professional medical help to get the thing drained and be prescribed appropriate anti-biotics.

Failure to do so and you risk losing a limb or your life if the infection spreads - which it can do very very rapidly.

If you can’t go to ER a competent GP could probably sort you out.
