Medical records wanted after recommendation is received?

I live in Berkeley, I'm 18, and I went to a doctor to get a medical marijuana recommendation for, if I'm being honest, a condition I have that I exaggerated to help get the recommendation. It went smoothly and I got the recommendation, however, I was informed that I should fax/mail medical records within in a month or two.

I'm a little goody-two shoes so I'm kinda freaked out. Does anyone know if this is just protocol for places that don't require records? What happens if I just don't send them? Worst case scenario?

If you been to the hospital for a Drug overdose or whatever, you might get your prescription revoked.

There's no hospital involved, all I'd like to know is that if I don't send medical records (they're a pain for me to get at the moment) is my recommendation going to probably get revoked? It would end there, right? No prying into my records (that's illegal, right? and they probably don't care to make matters more complicated with some faking when people do it all the time?)
