Hi all!

I don't post here a lot of stuff but I read often bluelight. Now I have to make a post.

I was 6 months in prison and my medication was 100 mg serequel & 10 mg olantzepin.

Before the jail I was using speed like weekends and sometimes often. It worked as it should be :

- I wanted to see people and go out (social activity)
-My sexual activity was crazy like 6 hours watching porn and stuff.
-I felt a lot of euphoria
-Sport activity
-etc

Now after jail I have been using speed like 8 week daily.

Everything what I wrote above has gone.

Now what I am feeling is:

-I don't have any sexual activity at all like couple weeks no porn or jerking off.
-No euphoria at all
-No social activity
-No appetite
-Good focus like playing pc 8 hours
-Sleepless
-Maybe a little more doing things like take care off official papers etc. but nothing like before (cleaning the whole house etc.)
-Like a week a go I stated to feel tired after taking AMP
-One night after a lot of use I wasnt able to sleep - I took like 20mg of clonatzepin still no sleep. then I took a little of AMP and I felt down to sleep.

Anyone know what is going on? while I used AMP I took a lot of benzos but I have been eating them like 15 years daily.
I dont have any other medication ATM.

Hi there, your problem is that you're using it too much. You need to take time off. Several weeks to start with to reduce tolerance, and then try only using it at weekends, as before.

It's weird that you would get these effects after a long tolerance break in jail. Amphetamine is a somewhat unpredictable drug, one day you can get great euphoria, focus, and reflexes and the next day it'll feel like you're a zombie.

A longer tolerance break will help with these issues, amp is one of those drugs that requires a good store of dopamine. If you keep working your dopamine receptors hard with repeated use the mental effects will greatly diminish even though your physical tolerance might be pretty low. That's my hypothesis based on my experiences, take it with a grain of salt, although a tolerance break is needed regardless of the science behind it.

Also the seroquel might still be in your system and blocking the amp.

Without even reading the post I was going to say tolerance and that’s still by far the most likely culprit. Daily use makes a huge difference vs even 5 days a week use.

I don’t have much meth/amohetamine experience but my crack use makes it at least relatable.

Even just a small amount (is I’m only high for 1 or 2 hours a day) greatly diminishes the positive effects. With heavier use (or high 8-20 hours per day) I get the same effect where i won’t be able to fall asleep until after smoking more rock.

Now other possibilities include that you aren’t getting amphetmaine and instead your dealer is giving you an rc or even just very low grade stuff.

And falsified brought up something interesting with an interaction with seroquel. Idk if psyche meds will still be floating around 8 weeks later but they are powerful meds and may have effects long term.

The only possible solution is to stop everything for a week or 2 and then try again. If the good effects return then you need to reduce your usage.

If it’s more of the same I would assume it is a permanent or at least long term change in your brain.

I believe the jail set you strai. That’s why it’s called the department of corrections. Cuz it corrects you.

I would suggest you lay off of it. Unless you are prescribed by a pdoc.

I bet you feel like shit because of the shit drugs they had you on in jail. Either stop taking them, or accept them and get used to them. You were in jail. Your wings were cliped. Your brain didn't get used like it did before jail. You have to force yourself to do the ol shit if you want it back. Brother, you may feel like your fucked, but your body and brain can bounce back. You have to jump start it, then you will end up jamming like before.

I don’t have proof of interactions, but I’d get off of seroquel immediately, shit is not good for anyone. That could definitely be messing with your high

OP, this is pretty typical, as others have said. You most likely have just developed a tolerance to the Amphetamine, as all of the symptoms that you are describing i.e. lack of sex drive, which should be through the roof; not wanting to socialize... these things happen in the later stages of Amphetamine/Stimulant use and thus are typically labeled "chronic symptoms".

You can take a break, recharge some of your neurotransmitters and then start again. The problem is, you will never be able to reclaim those initial feelings of wonder and euphoria that you got when you were first using. This is true of pretty much any drug. My recommendation, from an HR standpoint would be to not continue using Amphetamines, as you are showing early indications of what probably is neurotoxicity. The damage caused by Amphetamine abuse is permanent. This is why I'm a little "heavy handed" in my approach.

I'm gonna bet that testosterone comes into play here. When I went to jail and was forced to not post cycle correctly, my testosterone was low, and those antipsychotics don't help anything. Get the fuck off those, get blood work done to see your testosterone levels, and start thinking about taking testosterone and possibly gaining some knowledge in the hormonal department, maybe some hcg and clomid to reapair your test levels. Nothing is wrong with amphetamines or benzod or whatever else, those work exactly the same 100% of the time, provided you sleep every night and are eating okay. Testosterone, I'd the most important chemical/hormone in a man's entire body. Trust me I've learned this the hard way, testosterone matters 100x more than any other chemical for any man. If anyone disagrees with me, I seriously doubt you have learned this the way I have, I have real human experience with this, IDC what anyone says about anything, testosterone= most important chemical/hormome level to watch in 100% of men.

Yeah, if you're still on seroquel or olanzapine, that would be the most likely culprit, as they are known to block stimulant highs. If not the only thing I can think of would be tolerance. Did you get those effects when you first used again after jail?
