I find auto way more accurate with my Nikon D3000 and stock lense ....

I remember you mentioning you recomended gently moving the camera a little backwards or forwards to get better focus ...

Maybe it all depends on what body and lense you are using but I just can't beat automatic focus.

Does that count as cheating :\

SOOOOO much better than the iPhone, and the macro setting on the camera is definitely part of the reason why.
 
Yeah iPhone's can suck a fatttttty, I hate those things. Damn that is a serious macro setting for sure, damn can you like get an x-ray vision app?? Hahaha ;)
