Lysergamides LSD Dosage, then and now

I've heard it said many times that LSD produced by Sandoz was dosed at 250ug, and that other people followed suit in the 60s and 70s. I've also heard it said that the 100ug standard today is typically underdosed.

I was wondering where to look for textual references to that. TIHKAL? The Secret Chief? I can't remember where I should start looking for documentation for a friend that was asking.

Albert Hoffman's first intentional dose was 250ug, and Owsley circulated doses around there from what I've heard.
Maybe that is what you are referring to?
