lsd and sleeping with mleatonin and promethazine

i know they both are considered weak sedatives with melatonin not really even being a sedative but if i would to take at the end of my lsd trip at around hour 9-10 should i be able to sleep? has anyone used promethizine as a sleep aid for lsd

I would avoid melatonin because it is closely related to serotonin and LSD affects serotonin chemistry. No idea about the antihistamine. Benzos are the sleep drug of choice post trip.

Avoid melatonin, it'll give you a headache if you eat it during a trip from my experience. promethazine would work decently to take the edge off, and from what i understand it's pretty safe to pop a couple of them (max dose recommended by drugs.com is 75mg). Don't expect them to bring your trip to a halt, but they'll probably help you snooze on the comedown.
