lower methyindate tolerance

Okay so i'v taking 72mg for almost 3 months, Had no side effects, Been reading stuff where people taken 108mg, 144mg and so on, So i'v been taking 160mg odd for about 3 weeks straight.. i have no tolerance to it now, I took my basic 72mg today and it's not working, How can i bring my tolerance back down to 72mg?

Sorry i' generally new to this sort of stuff
