I found 2 Excel programs but they are giving me different answers, LOL.

This is fascinating.

There's a few half-life threads already. Slow_Mobius pointed out already that just multiplying half-life by five is a good rule for how long it takes to clear a drug from your system.

You'll get different answers because there's different interpretations of when you can really say a drug is out of your system (at 95%? 99%? etc.).

What exactly were you trying to find?

For myself, of course! I'm currently wrapping up a short term Oxy detox with Suboxone. I'm finishing up day 3 after stopping sub. One calculator has me at 2.73 mg remaining and another as me at .48. If the first is true, I shouldn't be making plans for a while.

But also, it's a fabulous tool for scaring the shit out of my teenagers.

"Momma may not know what you're doing, but MATH is watching!"

Hey, I resent that a little. I can see scaring teens by making them fill-in spreadsheets, but dammit, I miss getting paid to do that.

That is a big range, do you have a link to the calculators?

I also found this one:

For the second one, I simply took it to 0 by adding 0 day dosages, and then added my input:

6, 6, 4, 4, 4, 4, 4, 2, 2, 2, 0, 0, 0

One has me eating sushi and going to the movies on Friday, and the other has me...not. 8(

That is interesting: the first one just uses 24/37 as a multiplier, the second one 24/21.95 as an exponent.

Anyway, Friday is always a day for sushi and movies, I say go for it.

That was very mathy. It made me hungry for SUSHI.
