Life feels like it’s over again

Does the fact that someone doesn't love you back? Make your love any less powerful or real? No, of course it doesn't.
Not less powerful or less real, I think that there are many kinds of love (one can love his kids, his special one, his family etc) with different requirements, not all of them require reciprocity but romantic love does . The notion of love I m working with here is love as union https://plato.stanford.edu/entries/love/#LoveUnio

And I argue that the whole premise of romantic love is based on the idea that it's okay to love someone, even if you have no hope of them Loving you back.

Not that I'm going to get into religion or metaphysics, but the idea of being reunited with a dead loved one is so based on unrequited romantic love. I don't know What else it could be based on.

And here's the final kicker!

REGARDLESS OF THE TYPE OR DYNAMIC OF THE LOVE ROMANTIC PLATONIC WHATEVER,

THE PUREST TYPE OF LOVE IS LOVE JUST FOR THE SAKE OF LOVE

Opa, sorry for my late reply and I totally agree with u on this point. I m just not sure that s the kind of love the majority of human being can feel toward a person especially if they are romantically-sexually attracted to this person. It s just that romantic love, like friendship, for me is not only a feeling but an activity in which it takes two to tango
