Everyone is saying how potent levorphanol is but my pain clinic doctor prescribed it to me after being on MS Contin 60mgs and Percoset 10mgs for years and it does nothing for me. It's supposed to be 6 to 8 times stronger than morphine but it does nothing for my pain and after taking 1 every 6 to 8 hours I would start to feel like I was in withdrawal so I had to start taking 2 at a time and on my bottle it says the maximum dose is 3 a day I can barely get through work most days so I don't know what I am going to do. Has anyone else had this kind of problem with this medication? And the problem is this is what my Dr wants me on and I don't think he will be willing to switch me back to what was working for me. I see him in a week so I guess I will find out then. I just don't understand why it works so well for everyone else but not me and it's very frustrating!!
