So today I bought a lot of these herbal sleeping pills. A little bit of research learned me that the main active component from lemon balm, which is rosmarinic acid, is a GABA-transaminase inhibitor. GABA-transaminase is the main enzyme responsible for the degradation of GABA in the brain.

Therefore I would expect this stuff to posses some powerfull effects because, unlike the GABA receptor agonists and positive allosteric modulators, this stuff actually increases the GABA concentrations. Does anybody have experience with moderate/high doses of this stuff? I will try it soon.
