Lazy eye after one shoots dope

It happened to me today for the first time. Totally wigged me out. Of course everyone around me thought I was having a stroke, no one knew I was high. It lasted the remainder of the day finally went away after about 12 to 14 hours. I talked to a friend of mine who is in med school and she confirmed this can be a side effect.
