For anyone who doesn't know Canada, we love to regulate and over regulate. And then study whether we have a sufficient amount of regulation and adjust as the current social theory of the day goes :)

THC and other cannabinoids listed as % of dry weight
Weight (g)
When harvested
When packaged
Legal disclaimers of responsibility
Warning about overconsumption, consumption by pregnant women or by 'adolescents'.
Warning about potential addicition
Warning about not driving or operating heavy machinery
Warning about idiosyncratic responses
Provincial tax stamp

C'mon, there's gotta be more crap we'll be putting on there (interprovincial sales requires proof of origin?)

don't worry about it, now that the economy is circling the drain the people responsible for voting the Cons into power are the ones being hit hardest. Harper's going to need to pull a pretty fat rabbit out of his hat if he expects to feed enough people to win the next election.

Firstly I think ur talking about Canadian medicinal cannabis and it's packaging/labelling . Not recreational . Recreational marijuana is illiegal in Canada and will remain it as long as Harper is in power:

And secondly why are you complaining ? It's probably the best thing Stephen Harper has done . establishing a federal wide working corporate medical marijuana system . Minus the taking away patients right to grow their own medicine . Not cool . At all.

Most of the medical strains available in Canada are around the same price as the U.S. . Even less I guess now as the canadian dollar isn't worth as much anymore. BUT at the same time we have more regulation on the medicinal product and how medicinal marijuana companies operate compared to american dispensaries thanks to our federal wide system.

It's like if the states had the FDA (equivalent to health Canada but more corrupt lol.) implement regulations for medical marijuana. But they don't as medical marijuana on a federal level isn't recognized in the U.S.
They leave states to it who each have very different medical mariujaua standards . Some states are strict and nicely regulated systems with quality control while some states suck and barley have any - might as well get ur shit off the street.

A lot of cali dispensaries for example are a++ great but at the same time some of those random dispensaries are literally just street grown, fake thc test, pesticide or mold weed being sold in dispensaries . Or some are used for money laundering for bigger things. You know why ? Partly due to lack of regulations & quality control.

And if you don't like the regulations or the "high prices" they have created for your medicinal bud then just get your bud off the canadian streets. Or grown ur own.
Or move to America where they love lack regulation for some reason. Even in their financial system (partly why the recession happened - too big to fail. look it up). Then compare it to the canadian banking and financial system.
If u can or knw where to get nice Exo or Kush off Canadian street dealers tho It's honestly only slightly worse if that compared to medical. U just have no guarantee on the name but u can usually tell if it's a Kush or not or general but not exact strain lineage.
Regulation for medical mariujaua is good for bud and good for u buddy. Trust. It's what us legalize it ppl aka most stoners have wanted all along . Now we have it ... In Canada :) if ur a medicinal patient anyways lol. Which is harder to get here vs US.

In product labeling, you will find that label of each product is different. For example, label on food product is different with that on pharmaceutical product.
