^ I haven't gone through that entire thread but I can tell you that a month long withdrawal is almost unheard of, or at least so rare that I haven't heard of it aside from people who used kratom to get off something stronger like oxy or buprenorphine. For most, withdrawals last from 5 days to 2 weeks (not counting days tapered, most fall into the week or so category from anecdote).
Kratom withdrawal isn't fun, but even the most seasoned kratom users typically won't run into month long withdrawals, though I guess it's a rare possibility. The half life of kratom is something like 3.5h iirc, that's very short. The intensity of the withdrawal seems to be far more variable then the duration, some say it's pretty damn rough while others sort of shrug it off. Sadly, there's no way of knowing til it's too late I guess. I can tell you from experience that both rebound from a week on phenibut and a rather mild etizolam habit (on seperate occasions) made kratom withdrawal quite comical, but it's still FAR from my idea of a good time.
@Thanatos I don't buy that, I've been prescribed opiates for colds and flu's before getting on kratom and while I felt content and euphoric, I coul still tell that I was sick underneath it all. The runny eyes, nose, and chills from a true sickness isn't resolved with opiates ime. Most symptoms are indeed masked, but definitely not all. I'm not quite sure what your trying to say about the fever/cold effects from withdrawal, please do explain.
