Kratom pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics

So the title is the question. Looking on information on how kratom works as a whole, not just mitragynine/7-hydroxymitraginine, although those are of course 2 main talking points; I'm trying to figure out how its other alkaloids affect kratoms effects, generally speaking. I would have brought this to OD but I really wanted some in depth info.

There was a recent paper suggesting that mitragynine functions somewhat like codeine, in that it is only weakly responsible for opioid effects as it is metabolized in the liver to a more potent mu-agonist (7-OH-mitragynine).
 
Damn I've been so busy I havent been able to really get back on this discussion that I started. I was particularly interested in corynoxine b and the compounds that stimulate adrenergic receptors. I will give it a second read through and come back.
