Following oral administration, the compounds provide a therapeutically effective amount of ketamine in the systemic circulation of a patient. Ketamine derivatives provided by the present disclosure exhibit an oral bioavailability (% F) of ketamine greater orally administered ketamine and an improved pharmacokinetic profile.
