Based on real events, kind of a downer, but here it is...
The male friend described in the poem once recited poetry to me, he memorized the whole square root of three poem from harold and kumar 1. I'm wondering if I should read this to him or if it would come across as passive-aggressive and bitchy. We have an open relationship, and now he DOES know my name, and I am happy with our relationship, this is just me feeling sorry for myself I guess.

On an electric Friday,
Two youths pass on the street.
She offers up a teasing grin,
and he looks back at me.

Without a word he takes her hand,
and clothing melts away.
Spent and slick with sweat,
he never caught her name.

They meet again, the same routine,
My legs around his chest, he talks about another girl
But as "Just a friend", I have no right,
So I don't say a word.

She offers up another touch,
a taste of ecstasy,
hoping trough the pleasure,
Her shallowness he won't see.

Behind lip tricks and diet pills,
this girl, so insecure,
He babbles about his dream girl,
and I know I'm just his whore.

like it...

ps

he sounds like a chump. I've had fuck buddies before, talking about others that you have actual feelings for seems kinda rude, not something i would do anyway.
Imo he's got no class

yeah, that is a rough spot to be in. well expressed, if I do say so myself.

I agree, well expressed...the last stanza in particular really leaped out at me as something that would sound really good read aloud..
