Poetry I've never wanted to see a man like that

[Snafu in the Void]

I see you drinking at the computer
what a stupid dumb fuck
no, you aren't stupid,
or a dumb fuck
but you are stupid
and you're living in your mother's basement
if I had written you the other night
as drunk as I am now
I probably would have cursed you
and never written again

We used to be so full of life
You used to write insane fucking poems
in all capital letters, to God
and then He would write back
and somehow that damaged us
even more
I wish to live with the worst
of women, of hope, of life
and hold on to this

what a lucky God damn thing
that we're still alive.

Many more people will have to die.

It's true. I can love myself.
