Opioids Itchy nose advice

As much as I love opiates, the itchy nose always gets to me and I get it REALLY bad. Anyone know any ways to not have a itchy nose or atleast make it not so bad?

Antihistamines work for some....

For me ymmv, 25mg Promethazine and 10mg loratadine works wonders!!

Most antihistamines work on itches all over besides your nose. If the 1st gen ones make you sleepy then Zyrtec can help and won't make you tired.
Diphenhydramine also comes in a topical ointment/ spray if something that concentrated is needed.

Personally I love a good scratch when on opiates, the itch I admit can be a pain in the arse but I love getting a hard brush out for a good scratch.

Loratidine is a perfect second generation antihistamine which doesn't increase the sedative properties of the opioids you are taking.
