Is there a possibility to get rid of mdma effects after taking

A friend of mine just took a pill and something really bad came up and he has to go to an emergency somewhere. He already took it 30-60 min ago so puking is not an option. It has not kicked in yet but he needs to stay sober. Any suggestions?
 
No way to stay sober. Other drugs that would deaden the effect like Benzos, but he won't be sober.
 
Thanks for the fast reply. Isn't there something like with weed, you take a lot of sugar and somewhat sober up? Thanks again
 
Suger sobers you up by increasing blood glucose and thus makes you feel more awake/aware. It's not a true sobriety. Same with coffee when your drunk, your still drunk but might sound a bit better due to the stimulation.
 
The effects of MDMA can be stopped or minimized by certain anti-depressants and anti-psychotics, but this can't be done safely. Rather than potentially ending up with two emergencies, maybe keep your friend company and help him tend to things while he is intoxicated if that's a viable solution.
