Is the FBI hacking TOR?

Wasn't freedom hosing the guy the "anonymous" was going after? <edit> yes I looked it up and they accused someone with a different name than the person just arrested. I hate online lynch mobs.
A lot of vendors on SR used Tormail which was hosted by freedom hosting, so if you used that service that your emails could be compromised.
SR is not hosted by them so if you just used their message system you should be fine. This just looks like just an anti child porn operation to me, I wouldn't worry.
 
using my pc i visited silk road. once i was done i did netstat -0 in the cmd. showed an established connection to :
teamhugs:http
web3:http
and an ip that went to ashburn va with the isp being telos. the fbi has a center there and telos is gov run for defense.

needless to say i will never be using SR. call me paranoid but i aint risking a knock at the door.

You're also likely safer buying drugs through Silkroad than you are buying them in person.

Customs intercepts drugs in the mail, especially packages from NL. I know from experience. Making the jump from that to tracking me down AND proving that I knowingly ordered said package is well within the ability of the US government, but probably not worth the effort it would take. I mean, as long as they confiscate the drugs, that should be a win in their book.

Nevermind the fact that you can now have access to drugs of remarkably higher purity and variety than almost anyone on the street

Harassing small-time buyers is the job of local law enforcement (it is all the really seem to want to do), and Tor and bitcoin are for sure out of their league as far as im concerned.

Logically, if you're buying or selling kilos of mdma or cocaine, Silkroad is probably not going to be the way you get caught
