Is ritalin IR more potent than SR?

So I have both ritalin 10mg IR and 30/40mg SR on script. Snorting the 10mg's feels about as potent as the 30mg's, so I am wondering if the IR ones are more potent than SR, even when the SR is crushed 100% and snorted?

It's going to be heavily dependent upon the brand and design of the extended release system. Where are you located and what is the brand name of your medication? I can tell you that, for instance, with a "well-designed" (MSContin) extended release system has only ever been ~75% beatable in my experience. This is just by sheer mechanical action, no solvents or anything. It makes for a slower hit, but it's better than straight consumption I reckon.

I use Novartis 30/40mg SR and 10mg IR. I live in Norway.
