If I do a water extraction of T1 pills with virtually zero acetaminophen, is the pure codeine I drink still bad on my liver??

In reasonable or therapeutic doses it's not going to hurt your liver, no.
For being psychoactive codeine needs to go through the liver to pass through methylmorhine to morphine, if i don't say bull shit, it maybe harmless", but it affects te system

But dont some substances make the liver work harder than others??

Aspirin vs. tylenol for example. Tylenol is a lot harder on the liver than aspirin
Indeed. Some drugs are much more taxing on the liver.

Specifically with Tylenol if you take too much your liver runs out of enzymes to metabolize it, so it starts improperly metabolizing to a highly toxic metabolite.

Found this study. Apparently aspirin can have a protective effect on the liver as opposed to tylenol.
So the contrast between some substances is quite drastic:

There are many many drug interactions in the liver. Some good, some bad. The bad being fatal mistake sometimes.

Some try inducing or inhibiting certain enzymes to get even higher from a drug. This is very risky business, though. Results are very unpredictable and can easily cause overdoses.

No, pure opiates are not toxic to the liver in any way.
However several painkillers and other medications are, and you always keep informed about counterindications when taking certain drugs together.

Codeine will have zero toxic effects on your liver no matter what the dose is. It's only bad when injected.

Thats true, but lots of substances are metabolized by the liver, however that doesnt necessarily make them harmful to the liver also
Its bad for the heart put it behind the lip to dissolve you get morphine

Liver damage is a weird thing. Pretty much all oxidative metabolism (think cytochrome p450s, monoamine oxidase, flavin monoxogynase) will induce some level of oxidative stress due to water molecules slipping into the active site when they shouldn't and getting turned into hydrogen peroxide or hydroxyl radicals.

Thing is, is that healthy livers are able to repair themselves pretty well, so this isn't a worry (though in a severely damaged liver, codeine would be a lot worse than morphine because it needs to be demethylated, and a lot of codeine gets metabolized to inactive compounds while waiting to become morphine).

Things like acetaminophen cause damage acutely because they form metabolites that react with the proteins in the liver. This both harms the function of the affected proteins, but also can cause the immune system to recognize the metabolite bound protein as a foe, and attack causing quite a bit of damage.

Codeine metabolism shouldn't do harm in that way though.
