Opioids Is promethazine DM used for lean?

I found this bottle of prescription promethazine DM cough syrup. I understand that the active ingredient in lean is codeine The syrup is yellow, not purple, and on the label says promethazine DM not promethazine/codeine. Could this still be used to make lean?
 
nope, promethazine DM cough syrup is promethazine and dextromethorphan, which is not usable for lean (no opioids) and not usable as a source of DXM either (too much sedating antihistamine)
 
no that is not lean. and wouldnt make proper lean, but you could try i guess, but its DM, not sure what other chems are in there.

DM usually has nasty chems you dont want.
