You probably just got sold a research chemical, brain zaps aren't super serious usually.
But why did you post this in MDMA/Empathogens?

I got a coke based pill

I doubt that since coke doesn't work very well when you swallow it. He sold you some bullshit chemical and has lied to you. Buy a test kit for next time to find out what drugs you're actually taking.

You haven't got serotonin syndrome or you'd be in hospital and not writing this thread. You're just experiencing some side-effects from whatever drug you took and they will subside as it wears off. You'll be fine just wait it out.

Brain zaps mean that your serotonine system is confused, that will recover. But test your shit man, most dealers dont even know what theyre selling

brain zaps are not a symptom of serotonin syndrome, they are a symptom of low serotonin. they are a common with stopping an ssri.

there is no such thing as a coke based pill. cocaine+mdma would kill your roll and leave you felling mostly sober. cocaine blocks the serotonin transporter which is essential to mdma's effects.

Exactly. It wouldn't make sense to put MDMA and coke in the same pill, coke cancels MDMA out.

And in all my years of dropping, I've never heard of it or came across it. Whether it was coke by itself or coke+mdma, or actually coke+anything else.

I don't think even PR would have an example. They can have a bunch of other adulterants, but some of them I actually like...meth or amp pills were what I would consider come ups.

I came across it once. A mate had his birthday and popped some pills (untested, I wasn't there and he's a bit more reckless than me). He doesn't do coke, never did. Day after he was stopped by police in his car and apart from amphetamines they also found coke in his blood, enough to be convicted. So while I didn't believe such a thing existed before that, it does seem to be possible weirdly enough. That was about 3-4 years ago. In any case, no the brain zaps are not from coke, it's probably a sign you took too much MDMA, it will pass

MDMA also blocks the serotonin transporter and is even way better at doing it. Part of the effects of MDMA are because the blocked transporter can't take serotonin back to the neuron it came from, making it active for a longer time.

Brainzaps happen often after MDMA. It has nothing to do with cocaine. They usually go away. But if they stay. It depends where you are what you can do. In the Netherlands there is a doctor specialised in partydrug related problems. Not sure if they exist elsewhere. I'd ask your local drugprevention program, like dance safe, energy control or which ever one you have in your country.

Wow, that sucks. I have seen pills that didn't show up on PR before, but since I chose not to acquire them I didn't get a chance to test them. I wonder if they had coke in them?? I didn't know that was possible either. I've heard rumors that some mdma pills actually had lsd mixed in them, but I doubted that since that doesn't seem to feasibly make sense. I could already get lsd anyways so it was pointless to get.

mdma is potent at blocking reuptake, but not because it blocks the transporter (it hardly has any affinity to sert), but because it indirectly reverses its direction. you don't get the huge serotonin release by blocking sert, but it's easy if you use sert to transport serotonin from the axon terminal to the synaptic cleft.
