Is amphetamine maintenance a thing in any countries?

Was just curious if their is anything equivalent to methadone maintenance but for meth addicts or what peoples thoughts on that are.

Officially, no.

As for some similarities there have been studies with methylphenidate for cocaine abuse, and I believe lisdexamfetamine (vyvanse) for methamphetamine. Nothing approved for meth abuse on a higher level though, usually more in comorbid adhd.

The more stimulatory cathinone antidepressant bupropion (Wellbutrin or Zyban) has also been looked at in sort of a similar sense.

Unofficially yes in Australia. My psychiatrist prescribes me d-amp for ADD but says he believes it is helping my meth craving. I just heard there is also an experimental program at a major hospital in Australia that uses d-amp for meth addicts.
