I have so many mixed feelings.
This needs to happen, I know this and my mind is made up.
There's a LOT that has gone on and I'm currently in the midst of a nervous breakdown because of this.
I don't know why I'm posting this.. really just need to get this off my chest.
I have a shitload of heartache to come, because I don't "hate" him and want the best for him.
But I'm not getting any younger and sick of living in a loveless, cold world.
I deserve better. I've put my needs last for too long.
Thanks for reading and any positive advice right now would be much appreciated.
Note: please no suggestions regarding staying with him.
 
I can definitely tell by your post that you have been thinking about this for sometime. You deserve a loving partner. You've always been a sweetheart on this site. A happy life is waiting for you. It sounds like you made the right choice. Being on your own for a while will give you time to recalibrate and discover who you are and exactly what you want out of a partner. I'm sure your current partner has shown you what you don't want. I wish you the best. This is the start of a new life.
