If you spit acid reflux after taking pills are you loosing the chemicals?

I spit alot of salvia after drinking coffee and taking my medications. Does this liquid contain the chemicals from the pills or is it from somewhere else ?

If it's just saliva, anything youre losing is negligible. You would have to actually be vomiting to lose anything

No its just spit. If it is reflux I would see your doc. I have severe acid reflux and it caused Barretts esophagus. Which is a precancerous condition. Google it

I'm actually going to close this, just because I feel like it's been answered pretty definitively. After you introduce drugs into your system, they'll be available in various organs, fluids and tissues at different points in the metabolic process. I'm sure that you're saliva is going to contain a certain amount of the drug, but it will ultimately be negligible.
