In the state im at they dont care about weed, it is legal here recreationally but before that even its one drug that they wont hassle you about. Suppose even so if you went and got a medical card that would play into ypur favor as well. Personally i dont smoke weed i mainly just do psychs, dissos and empathogens so i didnt really have to worry about the drug testing.

Do they care about alcohol which increases the lethality of methadone?

Alcohol is a major deal and benzos as well. They have a strict policy about that and if you break it your take homes will be taken away for a very long time. If you can get your hands on Soma that is great for synergy, the euphoria from that combo is god like. Generally i would dose a gram of that 4hrs after i took the Methadone.

What if you have a legit benzo prescription and you go to the clinic…will they never give you take homes?


I’ve been walking a fine line of not getting dependent on benzos for a few years of being prescribed them with methadone…but I fear ending up at a clinic and dependent on the prescribed or probably at that point cut off and illegal benzos I would be taking just to not die…

Ive had friends prescribed Klonopin there and they were able to be on it, this was many years ago now tho. Im betting if you did have a benzo script they would give you a harder time when you are pushing your dose upwards to high levels.

Sometimes it’s almost easier to just say you’re an addict and get massive methadone doses.

It’s funny how they’ll raise an addict to 300 mg if he asks but a pain patient has to fight like an animal to get 20 mg of methadone

My doc of 20 years just retired….amazing guy, I’d be completely honest, trust, building a rapport, I got scripted many things I requested, within reason…specifying I wanted to try lowest possible dose….gradually requesting increase

Vyvanse (d-amphetamine) I was given 40mg daily (12 mg Dexedrine equal) but referred Methylphenidate (Ritalin) as its euphoric dopaminergic exhilarating feeling was nearly identical to Oxycodone 10mg when opioid naive. True euphoria
