I had my wisdom teeth removed and they were severely impacted. The process was very difficult for the surgeon and he struggled to get them out. I was prescribed Tramadol 50mg and Oxycodone 7.5mg.
I have been taking the Tramadol 4 times a day but have not taken the Oxycodone except for the first day.
Is there such thing as a cross tolerance between Oxy and Tramadol?

Tramadol is a synthetic opioid analgesic as where Oxycodone is a semi-synthetic opioid.
The pharmacology of the two drugs are different in that they act differently on the brain.

Since I have been taking the Tramadol, when I start taking the oxy, is there the chance that I will already have a tolerance to the oxy? Please stick strictly to the question, thanks.

There is some cross tolerance, but not a ton. I would try taking your prescribed dose of oxy before trying to increase it.

How long have you been taking the tramadol?

Ive been taking the tramadol for 2 days, how much cross tolerance would you say there is? What do you mean when you say not a ton?

You will have developed little to no tolerance to either medication after only two days.
