Scream awake
I've got some rules to follow
It's no longer fake
I've got some pills to swallow

Scrub my skin, filth from time
Both passing and digging in
While standing in line
Trust me, this is just fine

My living is worth dying for
but this isn't heroic,
circling undead brain tour,
sampled loveless entropic

Reading the ramifactions of my logic
Believe me kid,
I'm an expert on the topic
Of the lowest bid

I sit alone behind my screen
Nobody ever tends to me
I sit alone and try to scream
Bring that mallet to tender me

Don't listen to me
Because I don't know how to write
Seriously, you should flee
Because I can't end this poem right

Yes, you can. As I sit here, stifled by my perfectionism, limited by the aspiration to write the perfect piece, this excellent entry into your catalogue reminds me that writing the thoughts and emotions as they come is the finest reward. Decidedly capturing the moment as an expression of stilted writing, or perhaps even cacography.
