Hysingla and Fentanyl

I was on the Fentanyl patches for about a year and I could tell how dependant I was becoming on them. I asked to be changed back in July and doc put me on 40mg of hysingla. The pharmacy had to order the hysingla this month and I didn't have anything to take but I did have patches left over from June so I put one on until my hysingla comes in. I am amazed at how well the Fentanyl controls my pain!! I have been able to play with my kids and clean like I use to! I can't afford the next dose up on the hysingla and I can't afford to get addicted to the patches again...anyone else have this situation? ? Which is the lesser of the 2 evils?
 
Were you addicted or dependent on the Fentanyl? There is a big difference and it seems addiction isn't the issue here but if you elaborate a bit more I could perhaps offer better advice.
