Opioids Hydromorphone ER prep for IV

16/32mg ER hydromorphone/dilautid.. How to prepare the extended release version for iv? I know you have to peel all the coatings off and separate the black extended release part from the white part (which is actually the dilautid), but the white part still seems to be gel. Mix with water and simply heat, 91% alcohol method?? Please help!
