I second the irc idea
icq isn't designed to handle large chats and it just won't flow as well as irc.
Theres a bl chat room on oz.org (#bluelight)?
why not there?

I remember there used to be one about 4 months ago.
Ah well we can still goto any server and join up to a #bluelight channel

I think that the votes are leaning towards IRC. I have downloaded mIRC 5.71 from the link provided above.
Suggest that everybody does the same if you don't already have it.

I think we have confirmed that we will use IRC as opposed to ICQ. Now the only question in the server. I will determine a server in the next few days and post here with the info.

I've tried connecting to #bluelight.org and it appears to work. I just need somebody to connect with me to see if it is a room. I'm no IRC expert either, so we'll play it by ear.
Connect to Random AU server and then go to commands and click on 'Join'. Type in '#bluelight.org' and it should take you there.
Anybody with any input on how to make this run smoothly is more than welcome.
