Huge difference in stregth between different brands of Benzos?

Today i picked my prescription of Lorazepam up from the pharmacy and they had gave me the blue Lorazepam 1mg tablets made by Genus pharmaceuticals. I usually have another brand of Lorazepam which are white tablets.

Taken my first 1mg dosage of the Genus Pharmaceuticals Lorazepam and i feel heavily sedated. This usually NEVER happens when i take my usual afternoon dosage because i have a fair tolerance.

It honestly feels more like 2mg rather than 1mg. How can this be?

All Lorazepam is prescribed by my doctor and from legitimate pharmacies not shady meds or anything!
 
Pharmaceutical companies have a window of purity they are allowed to be within, and it may be that brand has a slightly higher level of the drug. Usually it's negligible but it may be noticeable in this case.
