how to stop a bad trip on mushrooms

Take nothing, ride it out and see what you can learn from it.

If you can write on here (even if you know what a keyboard is.... it isn't that strong anyway#

Attend to your environment, make it as comfortable as possible, try to relax - could turn into the best trip ever...

I want to know about people having panic attacks on psychedelics, in the hospitals what kind of medicament they give to them?

The people are right, heartless. A CBD edible would have helped, but you can't generalize to all cannabis edibles. If consuming these have helped you in the past, they must have had high CBD content. Edibles with THC are known to be able to produce their own bad trip, so that would have been far from helpful for curbing another bad trip.

You're coming close to giving harmful advice again. Please be considerate of the possible consequences of your actions. You could have sent a less suspicious individual into quite the awful spiral here.

It sounds idiot, but sugar helps. It releases dopamine in the brain and this changes the vibration of the mushroom's effects, that is, because of the mushroom's effects, the brain is much more sensitive to the sensations generated by small dopamine releases. Chocolates!!

Yup. Milk is another home remedy. Silky white blank slate liquid! Shouldn't do much on the neurological level really, but the mushroom gets swayed by the ritual aspect nevertheless.

There are many ways to calm people down in any psychedelic journey or trip.
Just being a real, kind, compassionate person is a great start.

People are a lot more sensitive while tripping. If They suspect anything on the contrary while tripping; They will remember it for the rest of Their life.

This can be a positive or negative thing.

Initial: Supportive care (no drugs)
Some places pushing against use/overuse of medication (especially with only panic or known reasons/reaction), some faster to use, variable on reason
-->

Benzo (usually lorazepam, though midazolam is being used more in some places, diazepam)

-->
Typically more agitation/[homicidal/suicidal/known psychosis/not responsive to benzo/comfort/not majorly contraindicated], sometimes at initial when violent (combo with benzo)

1st gen ap [haldol or droperidol]

~AAP [olanzapine, ziprasidone, risperidone]

(The below applies to florid psychosis/withdrawal, not a panic attack, but depending on a trip with something else (PCP-esque/stimulant))

-->
Restraints (variable per hospital)
Increase doses, possible sedation.
[haldol/olanzapine/sometimes antihistamine say diphenhydramine/promethazine, though less now]

-->
Sedation/ intubation
Occ. More APs, benzo (extra IV/IM), precedex (dts / alcohol), ketamine, other

Only take a trip killer if you are in a psychotic state.

I have never had anything remotely close to a bad trip on mushrooms just unease. Shrooms are hell of alot eaiser and nicer than the darkness than is within LSD shrooms sedate you vs LSD extreme stimulation which makes letting go and floating down stream easier.

my max dose been equilvent to 13 dried grams of cubensis.

Shrooms are very sedating and the heavy parts are over so fast if you let go. You have to let go and confront what the shrooms are telling you instead of running away from your psychologocial dilema by taking benzos

Play shamanic aya icaros if are you ever in a bad spot on the mushrooms this is like a lifeline as the drums beat you deeper into a haze trance and the vocals recuse you from the darkness.

Take some cannabis edibles.
This is a very irresponsible and ignorant advise that could turn the already bad experience into a much worse one. They could suffer from panic attack for a long time or even harm their psychological well being so severely that they would have to deal with a life long condition.

When people in a tough situation ask for advise, we need to give them the needed/ helpful information only if we're %100 sure of its correctness. We also have to give this information which is valid, effective and helpful for most of the population who experienced nearly identical or very similar issues, not what worked for us.

You could give this advise with a warning that it helped you but may not be as beneficial for you and it could make the problem much worse for some.

As said before, benzodiazepines and antipsychotics would be your best options for helping you handle the trip. Eating food helps some people to shorten the experience and pull down the intensity.
Just like combining multiple stimulants or multiple depressants, combining 2 hallucinogens would also multiply each other's effects weather they're good or bad.

It seems like you might be missing some of the necessary experience, knowledge and the feeling of responsibility for others' well being. Problems like this can turn into a disaster that's a threat to sanity or life of the person who is in trouble.

Eating helps, so does physical activity like dancing ! jogging, lifting, swimming. I get stressed on 3 out of 10 trips. I always take shrooms with weed at hand cause smoking a joint will take the edge off (but enhance psychedelia.)

Best thing to do is to meditate...rest it off. If you focus on your breathing, on peace and warmth, you calm yourself down, and enter bliss.

What caused your bad trip? The confusion, the visuals?

milk, or poppy tea

low dose opiates will take away the anxiety and you still get the visuals

i dont know why people rate benzo's so much, have you ever felt panic from an opiate? exactly and theyre much more euphoric and lucid
