how to prepare testing reagents

I've seen everywhere that marquis is simply a mix of con. sulfuric acid and formaldehyde, but i cant seem to find any info about robadope, simons, or meckes reagents.

does anybody know the compositions?

it lists 12 test reagents, including simons, mecke, mandelin, and marquis, but no mention of robadope
are there any synonyms for robadope's reagent?

found it cos I was wondering the same

"Primary amine reagent; substitute acetone for acetaldehyde in the Simons formulation"

so it would be presumably using the same ratios

Dissolve 1 g of sodium nitroprusside in 50 mL of distilled water and add 2 mL of acetone

buffer seems to be, as that was something I was trying to find out too, a 2 percent sodium carbonate solution using distilled water as the solvent

so robadope is primary amine reagent?
