Misc How much less should you use when plugging?

If orally I take 40mg of a med, how much less should I take when plugging? Would it be half as much? Slightly less? Or even less than half?

Side note: the med I’m considering plugging is only “very slightly water soluble.” So is it even worth it to plug it in this case?

It really depends on the different bioavailability that the same drug shows with different routes of administration.
If you have morphine, which has a poor bioav. when taken orally but a good rectal one, you should be careful and plug like 40% of what you would eat. Other drugs have a very high oral bioavailability, so plugging them doesn't make that much sense, in my opinion.
