How many bodybuilder use anything...

Athletes drug use tends to be restricted to AAS (steroids) and amphetamines (or weaker stimulants: modifanil, ephedrine, or caffeine).

Nicotine is widely used in baseball, tennis, golf, and football (to a lesser extent)

There are a number of drugs an athlete may use that are not recreational. The best known most widely used being clenbuterol ( an adrenergic receptor agonist).

In the older days, MLB players used just about everything under the sun. Now baseball players and athletes in general tend to only use drugs that they perceive to enhance their athletic performance.

Hey there, we have a Performance Enhancing Drugs subforum if you'd like me to move this post there, I think it's probably more suited to get answers for your question.

Most athletes at the D1/pro/Olympic level at some point, past or present, have used PEDs

Ped use is high in any competitive sport. What they use depends on what and how often they're tested for. Female wrestlers here don't get tested so they enjoy female friendly aas, diuretics, stims, etc based on what they need. The male ncaa foodball players here use short acting steroids in off season in shorter but well constructed cycles to help with strength and recovery but not to shut them down so hard.
