how long is too long for daily dxm dosing at 100 mg?

i know that many have done much longer and higher dose and worse but i'm just wondering what the potential dangers of doing this would be how long its ok to do this for? I have a very bad cough that wont go away

Talk to your doctor if you have a persistent bad cough, he can prescribe you something to treat it. We can't "put you on" cough syrup and say how long to take it for to treat your "cough". Isn't that what a doctor is for?

Even if so, 15mg every 4-6hrs as listed on most DXM meds is recommended so I think you should go with that.
