One would hope that minimum is higher since rent and everything else is higher. Although actually, in the US at least, federal minimum wage hasn't increased in years, despite inflation. Which is a serious problem.

Unfortunately minimum (and regular) wages in many countries haven't been keeping up with inflation recently, and especially not house price or lettings inflation (for decades). Especially since the 2008 crash and the good times that came before then to the mid '90s. Get out on the streets and protest!
