Help! How high should I set the dial at the bottom of my torch lighter for DMT?

I'm using this cold-start dab rig called the "HAMR machine" by "Myster" and there's a setting at the bottom for how strong I can set the flame to, what setting should I set it for the DMT? The midway point? Don't know if any of you guys are using the same device as me. On their website the company for this dab rig said I could use the cold-start method without ruining the DMT by burning it too much.
