How do you motivate yourself?

At the moment I've been struggling with motivation even though I'm capable of a lot

So I was wondering what motivates you to do what you do? In the past for me it was:
- Getting there
- Trying to see what I can do
- Getting to the end goal after starting
- Not wanting to be behind

Comes down to a choice.

I can either do something or do nothing, one choice will benefit me.. the other won't. I guess doing nothing for long enough made me never want to end up in that place again, so the thought of been stuck in a rut of doing nothing is what motivates me to commit to my goals.
