How do you know if the amphetamine you got is pure or not?

Ordered amphetamine. Apparently its prewashed with acetone, but how can I be sure? How can I tell if the quality is good without a testkit?

If straight out amphetamine your best measure of whether it is good is in its effects. However, speed is notoriously cut to death all over the civilised world so your harm-reduction approach would be as follows:

1. Subject a small sample of your supposed amphetamine to a reagent test. Reagents are easy enough to obtain and quite cheap in most places. However it will tell you if the substance has amphetamines in it, but not the purity.

2. Acetone wash your deal regardless of what your dealer says he has already done. Re-washing it does not do any harm. It will greatly purify out common cuts but there are insoluble cuts that can pass through an acetone wash.

3. If you are shooting it, you may see remaining cuts when you attempt to dissolve it. Filter heavily if you do. Filter anyway.

4. If you are snorting it, by this point there’s likely nothing seriously harmful (except amphetamine of course) left in it. So have a go and see what it does to you. If you think you have near pure amphetamine sulfate after all the above then be very cautious about how much you take. Street speed is very often only 10-20 % pure and a point or two will still light an infrequent user on fire.

Snort a serve about the size of a match head. If it’s pure, you’ll be chewing your tongue off and speaking like a race caller in no time at all.

I'm thinking on mixing 50mg with small amount of water and chug it. I've read that clean amphetamine should come in dry powder which dissolves easily in water.

The seller has only good reviews and people are saying it's very strong/clean, but time will tell... If it for some reason contains a bit of impurity, will it be harmful to ingest it?

Honestly it is impossible for us on BL to know what impurities might be in your amphetamine - we don’t even know what country/market you are in. However, the odds are that an acetone wash will clean out most things and swallowing is actually safer than snorting for some common impurities (snorting can lead to solid particulate in your lungs).

Amphetamine is water soluble and dissolves almost instantly in room temperature water. Just to be on the safer side, put your 50 mg into a little twist of toilet paper and swallow that with a gulp of water. Then any solvents/acids whatever will be dealt with by your stomach - even though it is probably unlikely there is any real risk.

50 mg of average quality street speed in AUstralia would set you off pretty well if you have no tolerance. You can always add more, especially since speed is a long lasting drug and you are not chasing a rush. Just add more after 45 minutes if you are not yet as high as you want to be.
